Before any money moves
Your card is authorised when you accept a price, not charged. It is charged once the operator has marked the job complete and you have confirmed it, or had half an hour to say it is not.
Raising a problem keeps the payment held while our staff look at it. If the operator cancels before reaching you, you pay nothing and the hold is released at once. If you cancel after they set off, or they arrive and cannot do the job for a reason your quote sets out, a smaller amount can be taken, and you see what and why before it is. Every price is the total you pay, with any VAT the operator charges included. The Terms of Use, Cancellation and Refunds and the Cancellation Rates have the detail.

An independent operator whose checks our staff have cleared for that service: their identity, their right to work, their business, sanctions and politically exposed person screening, and the insurance and documents the work needs. Your contract for the job is with that operator, and Recovru, a trading name of Dapper Trading Ltd, arranges it and collects the payment as their agent.

Yes. For a rescue, the price an operator sends is the total you pay, with any VAT they charge included, and your receipt shows the VAT when the operator is VAT registered. Plus, Family and commercial plans include VAT. For operators, the membership includes VAT, and our fee of 15% of the quote includes the VAT on it.
